West Won Bread

Founder and Head Baker Kyle Kuehner discovered sourdough while working a desk job in San Francisco and quickly became obsessed with the craft. After training in professional bakeries, Kyle moved to Napa and began selling bread at the Napa Farmers’ Market.

West Won Bread grew from the incredible support of the Napa community. Its name comes from a childhood memory of Kyle’s grandfather, who would hold up a slice at the dinner table and say, “This is the bread that won the West.”

Today, Kyle and his family continue that tradition by making naturally leavened bread meant to be shared around the table.
